Claire Schrder picClaire Schrader started out in life as the proverbial wallflower.  She was quiet, shy and introverted child who preferred the sidelines than participating with other children. Her family lived in flats where childhood noise was disliked and so her mother had to deliberately repress Claire and her sister. Both became so good and well behaved children, that their teachers commented on it. They felt there was something unsettling about such unusually good, well-behaved children.Scan 15This photo was taken when Claire was 13 but looked more like a nine-year-old, when she felt as awkward as she ever had done.

Shyness followed her into her early twenties until she got to the point where she knew she had to do something about it.

SAYING GOODBYE TO HER WALLFLOWER EXISTENCE

Through a series of coincidences she discovered the secret that all ex-wallflower movie stars know about, and that enabled her too to break out of her shell. Asa result she was able t say goodbye to her wallflower existence in a relatively short  amount of time, and acquire some of the skills that the most successful people naturally have.

She will be describing these experiences in this book.

When people meet her these days, they find it hard to believe she was once a shy introvert. In fact the first thing they say to her is “You’re never an introvert” – because she appear to be more outgoing than most, very comfortable on stage and in front of an audience, and somewhat of a free spirit. And then they wonder how on earth she managed to effect such a thorough transformation, since being an introvert is something that you’re supposed to be stuck with. There’s no cure for being an introvert!

As a result she have achieved things that would simply been impossible if I hadn’t come out of  her introverted hidey-hole.

Much later on in her life, when she trained as an arts therapist, she realised that it was her mission to help people who like her, were shy, quiet or introverted overcome their disadvantages

THE SUNFLOWER EFFECT

Over a number of years she  developed The Sunflower Effect, combining a wide range off psychological and transformational approaches that was extremely  fast and effective at enabling her clients to free themselves of inhibitions.  In time too they also were able to develop an effortless self-confidence and break through their barriers to expressing themselves powerfully in the world. She will be describing this process in this book. She is  still an introvert, and very happy that she is – and says she wouldn’t want to stop being one, because along with Susan Cain, she is discovered there are many perks about being introverted that has enabled her to fulfill herself in life.
